Hi, Having some problems with dreamweaver at the moment. I have a Huge banner image (basically 1280) that in Photoshop looks all nice with its multiple parts together. However I know in Dreamweaver when you go to combine all these images you typically a little white line that seperates the images. I also know there is a way in which you have to prepare your images in Photoshop...I think, that will allow it to work correctly within Dreamweaver. Or it could be that you have to fiddle with some feature in Dreamweaver to get everything to stick nicely.
Anywho have a clue as to what I am talking about and a solution?

In Fireworks, you can export an image, pre-sliced, with rollovers, links, all that wonderful stuff, as an html page that you can then use in dreamweaver. That's how I'd do it.

Will it link up nicely when used in Tables with a 0 Border setting?
Hopefully this works
|-------|--------------------------|
| I |-----T---------------------|
|------ |-I-------------------------|
Um, if that makes any sense the I = Image. And its within tables. So There would be an Image table, and next to it it would have a table with 2 rows, and on the bottom the image should fit flushlly with the 1 Image table. The table above would be for text/search engine.
..Guess it didnt show up right, hopefully you get thepoint though.

If you use the layout boxes in MX 2004, you'll get absolute position on anything you put in there.. so it's basically layered. You could put your image and links togethere however you want in Fireworks, and then layer in some tables and things on top of it with the layout boxes...
If that's what your goal is.
