Hi. I think there may be a problem with my Java or my Applet on my laptop. I have to do online quizzes for my chemistry class, and I have to go to http://d2l.arizona.edu And then take the online quiz by logging into my UA Net ID account. The problem is that when I hit "Start Quiz", nothing pops up when the test is supposed to. I think that Java is supposed to run something so that it will bring it up. I updated my Java on their site and still nothing. Any ideas? or Can I get any help?? Thx

I would look at your pop-up blocking settings for your browser. Make sure you're not blocking the new windows from d2l.arizona.edu.

Are you using a D2L-certified browser? Do you have the latest version of Java?

If you go to the D2L help pages (help.d2l.arizona.edu) and click on Students, you can do a browser check to make sure all you settings will work out (i.e. java, cookies, etc). Also, you should be using Internet Explorer if you're on a Windows opperating system. Other programs can produce some weird results.

If that still doesn't work, you can report a problem on the D2L help pages as well.

In addition, you can always take your quiz in one of the OSCR Help Desk Labs in ECE 206, ENGR 318, or LaPaz s107.
