Adobe 3.0 stops playback

WheI i am in edit mode and monitoring a playback, if I switch to another app or if the screen saver comes on the playback stops automatically. Any suggestions on how to turn this "feature" off?

Adobe makes a lot of software, can you be more specific? Is this Flash, Premiere, Photoshop?
