No Sound On Windows XP

Hi, a couple of days ago my sound was working fine but now I cant hear no default sounds. I can hear sounds from Windows Media Player but when I go to the web I cant hear no videos or when I empty my recycle bin, I can't hear the sounds. Any help?

It is very likely that you have a driver issue. To install new sound drivers, go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer and look for a drivers button. Then enter the model of your computer. Look for any drivers related to sound. Download and install these. Hopefully, when you restart, your sound will work again.
