There have been vulnerabilities discovered with ActiveX controls used by Facebook, MySpace, and Yahoo Music Jukebox. You can secure your data by disabling ActiveX controls that are effected - this may limit your use of these sites when using Internet Explorer. Alternate browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Opera are not impacted by this threat. To disable the effected ActiveX controls visit the Internet Storm Center (http://isc.sans.org/diary.html?storyid=3931) to download and run the GUI based tool. If you have questions or would like assistance please visit one of OSCR's Help Desk locations.
