I recently bought the wireless adapter for my Xbox 360, but I've been having a lot of trouble getting it connected to Xbox Live. First off, whenever I scan for wireless networks, only UAGuest and UAPublic show up. I've registered my MAC address for both the wireless and wired connection, and I've tried applying my NetID and password in the PPPoE settings. The farthest I've gotten is on UAGuest, but it fails at the MTU test. I just don't understand why UAWiFi isn't even detected, let alone where to go from here. I'm on the first floor of VDP. Thanks for any help.

None of the wireless adapters to date support UAWiFi. This is mainly due to them not containing the Equifax Security Certificate. UAPublic will not work because it blocks all traffic except web browsing and secure email. UAGuest isn't designed to be used by anyone with a NetID because they want you to use UAWiFi instead.

The only way to get onto Xbox Live is to use a wired connection.

since your mac address is registered you should be good to go on the wired LAN connection
