First off the most important thing is are planing to get your phone on UAWiFi or UAPublic? I will look around the web but as far as I know there is no phone that has a fast enough processor that will reliably handle the encryption required for WPA-Ent. For UAPublic pretty much anything with WiFi will work. I will let you know what I find.
yea i figured I'd have to use public. I guess it doesn't really have any disadvantages as far as what i'd be doing on a phone (browsing, email, gps). Now I'm thinking, though, that the best thing to do is get a normal phone on a year contract and than when that is up get something with android, which can handle UAwifi. In my opinion, the school should start regulating and organizing a system to allow students to connect to the network with their phones, pda's, game consoles, etc, without hassle. It's only a matter of time before using a laptop to surf the net is "so last semester".

Has anyone tried this with a Windows Mobile 6 phone?

I think Stoecker uses WM6 and he can't connect. I asked on the OpenMoko mailing list if wpa enterprise will be supported with the equifax security certificate and they said that as long as your regular linux computer can connect then the neo should be able to connect. It uses wpasupplicant and a stript down version of networkmanager just like what we use in ubuntu to connect to uawifi.

I have windows mobile 5 on my ipaq but now that I think about it I should have tried on my dad's ipaq 510 when he was here, it has mobile 6 and supports WPA 2.
