i used to be able to connect to UAWiFi perfectly. for the past 2 weeks or so i haven't been able to at all. i followed all the steps to set it up with wireless config zero. i removed UAWiFi from my preferred list and tried to add it back. now when i try to connect, it asks to verify credentials. i enter my credentials (net id and password) and it asks me again. sometimes more than once, sometimes never. but in the end, i can't connect. any ideas?

It sounds as though your drivers are the issue. If you could find out the make and model of your wireless card I can help you find the newest drivers. The dv5224nr comes typically with one of the following: Broadcom 802.11 a/b/g, Broadcom 802.11 b/g, or Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g. If you know how to go into device manager and find the card name and its driver version im sure we can get you pointed in the right direction towards a resolution to your current wireless issues.

Use DriverCleaner:

http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745

To completely nuke the old drivers.

Well I would have downloaded the file for you but it appears the 5 megs is to big to post as an attachment on this board. (please someone correct me if im wrong in that) You should be able to go to the following URL:
http://www.x-drivers.com/catalog/drivers/wireless_networks/companies/broadcom/models/bcm4311/index.html
and download the first one v4.150.22.0
