Why won't my computer connect in the science library?

Is there anything special I have to do to connect to the UA Public network when I'm in the science library? My computer connects when I'm in my office in Forbes and everywhere else it should on campus, but it has trouble acquiring a network address in the science library and never gives me internet access. I'd like to use my laptop in the library so I don't have wait to use or monopolize the public computers, but it defeats the purpose if I can't get connected to the internet...

UAPublic requires no setup. Are you saying it won't give you an IP address?
