I have a 5.1 surround sound system that came with a remote, 5 speakers, and a sub woofer that also acts as the master of sound. There are three audio L and R outputs on the back and it came with a cable to attach to one of these outputs with a headphone jack on the other side. I use this to play music from my computer through the system. I recently rearranged my room and encounter a problem after doing so. This problem is that my computer is now on the opposite end of my sub. The cable hardly reaches and when it does it makes it difficult to maneuver in my room. Is there a way or is there anything I can buy to make the connection between my computer and the sub wireless? without a cable going through my room? The subis in the best place in the room so I really don't want to move it. Can I make my computer send a signal or plug something into both ends that will send and receive? Any help I can get is much appreciated thank you!

You can either get a longer mini->mini male male cable and string it along the edge of your room, or you could potentially get something like something reviewed here: http://playlistmag.com/reviews/2007/02/transmitters/index.php
Not sure how well those would work, but if you're willing to gamble ~$90-$150, this could be a viable solution.
