What can you do with the UA VPN connection? What I mean is what can you access, etc.?

Any college servers that cannot be accessed from outside of the campus network. You can also use it on UAPublic to allow you to use email clients and instant messaging programs. Doesn't really make sense though considering if you can get the vpn you can have access to UAWiFi which isn't rate limited like UAPublic and therefore a better choice.

You can also access Library resources without having to enter your huge Catcard number every time. The library has also started streaming videos for certain classes as well (Such as my "ENG 300 - Literature and Film" class) so you can watch the films again online outside of class. You need the VPN to access that service too when off campus.

Yeah, the best thing about it is that you don't need to be on campus for EBSCOhost and journal searches. Makes it much easier to complete research projects from the comfort of your home.

I have been unable to establish a VPN connection with the University
since upgrading my Macintosh MacBook to Leopard (Mac OS 10.5). Is
this a known incompatibility with Cisco's VPNClient.app?

From what I've read online, the Cisco VPN software is not yet Leopard-compliant.

I assume you're trying to access University resources from off-campus?

Right when Leopard was released I heard it wasn't compatible, but I guess that has changed! Great!
