a girl came in to replay today and she said that she couldn't connect to the internet. She could get connection when she was at other places but not the UA. I looked and she had a signal to the Replay I-router (forgot the name for it). I check to see that she was connected to the UA network DHCP (student link)and that was cool to. I also tried to do a wired connection and it didn't work. She was getting signal but when i was looking it wasn't saying in the status bar that it was good. She said that she was going to come in later and i would like to have an answer for her.

Andy, I wish I could give you one answer that would fix her problem.... But....

Did you make sure her "Airport" MAC Address was the address registered and not just the built-in? Even after connecting to the built-in, did you check to see if her machine was given a proper DHCP address/number? According to my sources, the "REPLAY I-Router" is not ours or an any way affiliated with OSCR. If this is a Student Union device, they might be MAC ADDRESS filtering.

LASTLY, if all else fails, refer them to the DMRC (aka OSCR Underground)!

check if SIRT is blocking either one of her MAC addresses (802.11 and Ethernet).
