Hi,
I am an engineering student currently working on my senior capstone project. I am working with a small company here in Tucson and have built a website for them in dreamweaver. I currently have the website on my U of A account. However, the next step is to find a reliable and relatively inexpensive web hosting space for the website. In addition, I am not sure how you get hits for a website when you do searches online. If anyone can answer these questions or send me in the right direction for some research it would be greatly be appreciated.
Thank you,
Julie

i'm using godaddy.com for my domain name & web hosting. i would recommend them for domain name, but not for web hosting. i'm currently looking for another hosting provider. My gaming clan (www.bfsupreme.net) uses BlueHost and they have since February with great success. $7.95/mo, but not sure of the capacity & bandwidth, but I know w/ 100+ users they've never even approached the monthly bandwidth limit.

there are a couple of things you can do for site traffic, namely pay for it... beyond that, anyone else?

Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) or Alexa (http://www.alexa.com/) might be useful for their site as well

i would get this off your UA account as soon as possible, something in there about using UA stuff for business...

If you want something local, there are companies like DakotaCom.Net and Login.com that offer colocation and web-hosting solutions.
