Well, i think they're already in the market, but they're looking at selling inkjet printers for $150 - $300, but to sell the ink for $10 b/w; $15 color! This is revolutionary! This would be like the oil companies selling gas for $1.05/gallon; still making a profit, but not $4.5billion in a quarter!

I think it's a good strategy no one's tried yet. Everyone's gone for the "cheap printer, maybe even at a loss, but rape you when it comes to ink" approach. So if Kodak is really doing it (and not having tiny cartridges), I'm in favor. I've owned the same printer for around 7 years, so in the long run, something like this would save me money.
