Bear in mind this article was written in June of 04 so newer models may or may not be available. They also decided to play around in OS X and hooked two 250MB drives up as a software RAID-0 array.

I'm just happy to see my SanDisk do a pretty decent job, despite being one of the cheaper flash drives there.

I've seen that the PQI intelli stick is pretty good. It's supposed to be one of the faster ones out there, it's cheap and it's tiny.

They're available on newegg for a bit cheaper, but I can't get on there for some reason.

Have any of you seen the new SD+ cards?? they are really cool .. you can stick them into usb ports (by folding at the middle) as well as cameras. I am not sure which website I saw it at. cannot find it now.

Wait...you fold them in half?

yup ... well not exactly in half, but you fold them somewhere in the middle, which exposes this usb thing that you can stick into a port. I think it was from sandisk.

The Apacer HT203 is the bomb-diggity-wiggity-wack-nick-nack-super-mac flash drive. It's a little bigger than some, though not the largest, but it is the fastest. Review (http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?page=1186&head=12)

That's raw speed, my friends. And, thanks to Newegg, you can get a 512mb version (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-180-724&depa=0) of this bad boy for about $50 shipped, where a Cruzer Titanium will run you a cool C-note at Best Buy. You can also get it up to...not 1, not 2, but FOUR GIGS, though the 4GB version (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-180-729&depa=0) is a little more cost prohibitive.
