I can't seem to get my laptop on. I went through the steps on the faq(although I run Windows XP, not Zero), but I tried to find all of the options listed. The only one I couldn't do was the WPA2...it wasn't an option so I am using WPA. But I set up the authentications and the equifax certificate and everything. However when I try to connect, it gets through all of the steps up until Waiting for IP Configuration then waits a few seconds and fails. I am using an IBM ThinkPad T42 laptop. Also, I have registered both MAC addresses on my laptop(I guess one is wireless and one is hard), and have registered my netid. All of these things I did last semester or earlier, so waiting for them to process isn't the problem.

Thanks for any help.

Your best shot would probably be to come down to the OSCR Undroground in ILC 136. We have walk-ins from 9-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as well. If you would like to schedule an appointment please call (520) 626-8324. We would be glad to help you out.

Go here and download the update.

That will add WPA2 support. Had the same issue with my laptop.

UAWiFi works on WPA or WPA2.

Just FYI, Windows Zero is a feature contained in Windows XP. It is the wireless configuration utility, not an Operating System like Windows XP is. You might want to try running Windows Updates as you might not have Service Pack 2.
