UAWiFi Authentication

I followed all of the steps of registering and setting up my laptop to UAWiFi, but the status at the end of the steps just says: Attempting to authenticate. I re-entered my net i.d. and password, but it continues to say the same thing. do i just need to wait a long time for it to authenticate?

If anyone else is reading this looking for help, it can sometimes take a couple of minutes to mark your NetID as accepted after you initially submit it. Usually it's only about 30 seconds, in my experience, but it sometimes takes longer than that.
