Skype headset to telephone headset input

I have a Plantronics Skype headset (two 3mm phono jacks; mic & speaker) and I would like to use it with my existing telephone headset input (a single 3-connection 2.5mm phone jack). I am looking for some kind of a simple adapter plug, assuming the electrical signals are compatable. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Seems to me that you are looking for some sort of Y-adapter. I would give RadioShack a call.
