Oh man *shakes head*... this sort of thing has occured for years. It is only now becoming apparent because of the increase in drive capacity. The manufacturers have always advertised the size in decimal form. However I too believe that it is technically false advertising as the suit states.

Yep, although I've registered all of my WD hard drives and haven't herd anything back yet

I just registered one of mine. It seems that they won't start contacting people until July 16 or whatever.
