people cant hear my voice but can hear soudsn in my house

hey i brought a headset a few weeks ago and its been fine people can hear me well i can hear them but today wen iwent to talk to people they couldnt hear my voice but they can hear all backround noises in my house like music or the sound of my game playing. I havnt changed any settings in the Teamspeak channel i use or the volume settings. i was wondering if any any one knows whats going on

Could you be a bit more specific as to what you use the headset for? i.e. what program(s) you use it in, how often you use it, etc.

i said i use Teamspeak and i use my pc headset for gaming

If they can hear the background noises of your house, then your microphone is picking up noise. I'd play with mic placement until you are able to pick up your voice.

what do you meen ? my voice is fine the same as anytime iv used it

If people can hear things like sounds in your house or your music playing, then that means that your microphone is working - it is picking up noise. I'd move the microphone around until it is able to pick up your voice as well - experiment with different positions.

If they can hear music and your game sounds, you could possibly have your audio outbound settings set on wave instead of microphone.
