That's right, a fully-3D first-person shooter that is 97kb. How do they make the game so small? The content is all procedurally-generated, meaning the game content is generated on the fly.

It has fairly low system requirements, too. Most computers made in the past 4 years can probably handle it.

For those of you following upcoming games, SPORE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spore_%28video_game%29) will use this technique.

I played around with this game a few months ago. I really don't believe those minimum requirements, myself - my system has an AMD64 2800+ and a GeForce FX5200 and I was getting maybe 15 FPS tops.

Still, amazing what it does given the size constraint (and what a way to make my system feel less than capable).

Yeah, my laptop's 64MB Radeon 9000 couldn't pull more than what you were saying either. Granted, it's just a work-in-process.

I remember running into this in highschool. Good excuse to stay in the labs all day...
