1 head piece not working?

Hi, Just looking through google search and found this page, well heres the problem...I have just fitted my motherboard into a new case, and now wen i plug my headset in only 1 of the head pieces work, but yet when i unplug the headset plug half way they both work, can u help me get both working?

I'm assuming you're using audio front ports? Double check your connections, it sounds like you're either off by one pin, or maybe have one connected on the dummy pin.

no its not the front ports, bak ones, on my motherboard..

Hmm, ok.. When you say headset, what do you mean? Is it a pair of headphones with a mic? What kind of plug does it have? If there is just one plug, does it have 2 lines, or 3 lines?
