My friend's PowerBook has been acting up on him so he gave it to me to see if I could find what was wrong but I can't seem to get it working correctly maybe you guys can help.
The trackpad and click button on the laptop do not work at all. He has to resort to using his bluetooth mouse in order to use the laptop. So based off of that I thought that the trackpad might have just died, but the odd part is that none of his function keys work either.
I went into the keyboard/mouse settings to see if it was something simple such as the trackpad being disabled. But I don't even see that option or any mention of a trackpad what so ever. Is it at all possible that since these 2 features are exclusive to notebooks that Panther doesn't think the machine is a notebook. Could this even happen?
It's been years since I've really gone indepth into an os X machine so I'm kind of at a loss.
If worse comes to worse an OS Reload is in the notebook's future but if anyone has any ideas it would be great.
Thanks in advanced
