Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me, i'm trying to create a piece of software that would teach a student to play music by ear (basically be able to recognize any note based purely on sound) and improve musical memory i.e. hear a piece and then be able to repeat it, i have the theory of how the software would work and could provide all the music i just have absolutely no idea how to even begin creating software, i know i need programming software and probably tutorials etc but can someone please give me advice on where i can go to get this and how to learn all of this as cheaply as possible, Any help is much appreciated.
