I have an RS130 Headset and i bought a second pair of AAA batteries
They are identical to the 1s it came with size etc but they are 850mAh instead of 600mAh. It doesnt say in documents etc that this should matter.
They always work but then after about 1 minute the headset shuts off and i have to reboot the base station and remove/replace batteries and it works again.
The batteries are brand new and charged up so whats wrong?????? just faulty batteries?

Sure sounds like a bad battery. It could be both batteries, but if just one is bad it will do the trick.
If you've got, or can borrow, a voltmeter, it easy to check. Charge them up and put them in. Keep an eye on the voltage they are producing while in the circuit and running. You can compare that to a known good battery that is not being used.
You could also take them out of the headphones when they fail and try them in some other device and see if the problem follows. The problem with this is that the second device you plug them in may not need as much oomph as the headphones, so they may not be able to run the headphones even if they run the 'test' device.

More mAh (milliamp-hours) means longer battery life. The voltage is still 1.5V per battery. mAh ratings are important for high-drain devices like laptops and digital cameras; lithium batteries generally offer 2 or 3 times as much battery life, as indicated by a higher mAh rating.
Just some FYI.

Yeh cheers, its just weird how those batterys work fine EVERY time for about 10 minutes. Even though i tried it like 100 times they ALWAYS work for 10 minutes but then head phones bleep and shut off. so surely cant be the energy they are holding. SCrewy batteries i guess. i ll get new ones
