Looking for some professional, resume building, real-world programming experience? Take your programming skills to the next level, become an Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR) student programmer at the University of Arizona. Our programmer’s work in a team environment and utilize many professional software development tools and methods, such as version control (Subversion), project management, quality assurance testing and code documentation. As an OSCR programmer you will be expected to write object-oriented, web applications utilizing the Smarty framework, PHP and MySQL.
Preferred skills include: two years database programming experience with one or more of the following technologies: PHP, Java, .Net, C or C++, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server and three years experience with one or more of the following operating systems: OS X, Unix, Linux or Windows.
