help! usb jumpdrive dilemma!

the last time my jumpdrive was used was on the mac in the front desk of mll - now the files "seem" to be still in it- but everything is corrupt when i open it--- is there any way of recovering these files?! before i had about 500mb used, now i have 499mb free space- even tho when i click on each file it still says that it is using "__mb" but they just wont open-- HELP!

Take it down to the Tech-Leads in the Underground, they have tools that may be able to recover your data. Typically with 0KB corrupted data I have rarely been able to get it back. Typically this is caused when the drive is removed incorrectly. Perhaps simply unplugging without ejecting, or removing while data was active or in the act of being transferred. It may also be a case of bad luck. So, once again have a Underground-Techy take a look.
