GPRS/ EDGE Wireless Cingular

I had a question hoping for an answer. I got a PowerBook G4 15" and I recently bought a Sony Ericsson GC82 PC card. There is no official support for Mac OS for this card but it will work with Mac. My PowerBook recognizes the card. I was just hoping someone would know how to configure this so I could use it. I have seen some websites and downloaded modem scripts for it yet i am still having trouble.

If you've already done some searching I'm sure you've found http://fedward.org/GC82/ already. I've never seen this card so can't really comment much on it, but if you want you could bring it into the MLL (CC 303) or the Multimedia Zone (ILC) and try and grab one of the more mac-savy of the consultants there and see if one of us can't give it a go. I have a SE cellphone and have used it successfuly as a modem via bluetooth, but I don't think any of that info is applicable here, since it's a PC card.

Another thought is have you tried getting it working on a Windows laptop? Always nice to verrify that it works in some situations, who knows maybe you got a bum card...
